Meet Hollie
I’m Hollie Hauptly, a dedicated doula, childbirth educator, and trainer currently serving families in Utah and Salt Lake Counties. With over a decade of experience, I have had the privilege of supporting hundreds of couples through pregnancy and birth. I have been lucky enough to work as a birth professional in 3 different states and in a diverse range of settings, including hospitals, birth centers, and home births, allowing me to bring a wealth of knowledge and adaptability to every family I serve.
My journey into the world of childbirth began in 2010 after experiencing the impact of having a doula at my first birth. This transformative experience ignited a passion in me that reshaped my life and career. Shortly after, I completed my doula training and joined Birth Boot Camp in 2013. Today, I am proud to serve as the owner and CEO of Birth Boot Camp, where I continue to educate and empower parents.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s in Education, which have equipped me with a strong foundation in teaching and curriculum development. My educational background, combined with my hands-on experience, allows me to provide comprehensive support that addresses the needs of each family, ensuring they feel informed and confident in their birth choices.
I am a proud mother of four wonderful children—three boys and one girl—delivered both in and out of the hospital with the care of midwives. My husband, Lawrence, is a prenatal and pediatric chiropractor, and together, our lives and careers revolve around supporting families through the incredible journey of pregnancy and birth.
My Philosophy
Birth is a miraculous event that forever changes everyone involved, and it is both my pleasure and honor to witness this intimate moment in a couple’s life. My support is unbiased, professional, and unconditional, as I stand by you in your decisions for your birth—whether that involves pain medication, avoiding interventions, or anything in between.
A significant part of my philosophy centers around education and preparation. I have witnessed firsthand how knowledge can empower parents to make informed choices that align with their desires for their birth experience. It is my mission to provide mothers and fathers with the information they need to navigate their birth confidently.
Every birth is unique, and as a doula, I am committed to serving each family with respect and understanding, honoring their individual choices regardless of how or where they choose to give birth.
